Driver Killed In Sonoma County Big Rig Crash; Was Distracted Driving A Cause of this Roadway Fatality?

A pickup truck driver was killed in August in a truck accident in Sonoma County when his truck was struck by a big-rig at the intersection of Highways 121 and 37, according to official reports from the California Highway Patrol. Fatal Big Rig Crash Shuts Down California’s Interstate 580 for 10 hours

California’s Interstate 580 was shut down for nearly 10 hours earlier this month after two big-rig collisions near Castro Valley in unincorporated Alameda County. The police alert for the road closures came in just after 4:00am on that Thursday morning, and was finally lifted around 2:00pm. Sadly, both truck crashes proved to be fatal. Fatal Sonoma County Scooter Crash On Highway 101 Caused By Hit and Run Truck Who Hit Pole

The California Highway Patrol are on the lookout for the driver of a red and white Freightliner truck because the truck driver struck a pole on Highway 101, in Sonoma County, causing a fatal scooter accident when a scooter rider could not avoid the fallen pole.
