Our dear friend and fellow motorcycle fanatic Nick Hayman could really use your support and good wishes now, as he is fighting hard to recover from a very serious head injury suffered in a bad fall during an AMA race a couple of Sundays ago on May 06, 2012 at Infineon Raceway.

Nick is a co-owner of famed San Francisco motorcycle shop Munroe Motors and has been helping motorcycle enthusiasts for a very long time. I remember dealing with Pat Munroe a few decades ago, who was an icon in the San Francisco motorcycle scene. Pat could be a bit difficult at times and I was so happy when Nick acquired the shop.

Over the years, we have, as motorcycle attorneys, helped many customers of Munroe, and my partner George Choulos and I have also bought a few bikes at Munroe as well. Nick always has a smile on his face and will always make the time to come over and talk. He has been generous with his time and input and always cheerful and in good humor.

Nick is a pleasure to work with and to ride with, and always invites us to his Munroe events. When I had a little mishap at Infineon last year, Nick just picked put my bike in his truck and took it to the shop. I didn’t have to cry over it or worry about towing while I was nursing some broken body parts.

Nick is also a great rider and racer and I have greatly enjoyed watching him succeed and riding with him at track days. My law partner George and I are very upset that Nick is hurt so badly and hope that the San Francisco Motorcycle community rallies around Nick and supports him in any way possible.
